I’m starting a new feature on my blog. I’m documenting my purchases. Maybe this is a way to stop myself from spending every dime I have? Or maybe it’s an opportunity to make smarter choices? Or maybe it’s part of the process of building my wardrobe? Hopefully it will be fun. And not tedious for the reader. It’s also gonna be a wish list: what I want, what I need, what needs to go and of course what’s next.
When you were little did you ever play “I’m Going To The Grocery Store?” It was a memorization game where you had to remember alphabetically the contents of a shopping list from A to Z. Well this month we’re going shopping for an outing to the beach! Even if it’s just up to Zuma to surf or Malibu for the weekend, it still pays to look chic.

Every now and again we all need new. Just a lil something to lift our spirits. In my never-ending quest for the best, most stylish, most amazing things for myself and my clients I propose these 6 things.

Just because it’s summer does not mean that a man shouldn’t look pulled together and polished. Accessories are the key to a sophisticated look. And they can also be an outfits undoing. What we know is this; women judge other women by their purses and their shoes. The first thing I notice about a man (other than his face, butt and pecs) is his shoes. Then his watch.
Spring has sprung. Simply because I’m tired of fall/winter. I’m pushing my clients forward. I know…I know… It’s still snowing in the Midwest & on the East Coast. And we’re water-logged in La La Land. But the clothes are so cute for Spring!

I just had a birthday. A big one. Not too big. And besides as the saying goes, “Black don’t crack.” Or does it? I’ll never know. I intend to look like this till the last drugstore (or Costco) sells their last potion. But in my case I usually find it @ Barneys New York or Sephora. It might seem a bit girlie to do more than wash your face with a bar of Zest but so what…Gay, straight or somewhere in between; looking good is kinda all that matters.
The basics: Wash it, exfoliate it, and moisturize it.
FACE/ Wash it. Any good skin care regimen begins with a good cleanser. If you have dry skin cleanse with a creamy (keep it clean) cleanser that won’t strip your skin of it’s essential oils and over dry you. Oily skin? You want to go with a gel cleanser that has a little alpha-hydroxy or salicylic acid to help clear and stabilize your pores. If you have sensitive skin look for a fragrance free, hypo-allergenic cleanser that won’t cause break outs.
