I’m starting a new feature on my blog. I’m documenting my purchases. Maybe this is a way to stop myself from spending every dime I have? Or maybe it’s an opportunity to make smarter choices? Or maybe it’s part of the process of building my wardrobe? Hopefully it will be fun. And not tedious for the reader. It’s also gonna be a wish list: what I want, what I need, what needs to go and of course what’s next.
I got a nice chunk of change from my trip to Greece shooting Perfect Catch. And I’ve been tossing it around since I got back. Here’s a lil bit of what’s got me coming & going:

Yes it seems like a lot but most things were on sale, plus a perk of being a stylist is I get a discount at most stores. I shop smart. I peruse the sales rack for things that I can put in storage for next season or that work now. Express sales their shirts ‘buy 2 get 1 free or buy 1 get 2nd half off.’ And I love stores like Old Navy and the GAP for cheap basics that work well mixed in with higher-end pieces.
What’s next? These are the things I must have. I’ve been holding out but there is no denying the appeal of the high-end goods.
