Author, entertainment reporter, TV host, and wardrobe stylist, Marcellas Reynolds has been the ultimate fashion insider for over 20 years. Residing in Los Angeles and traveling across the globe, Marcellas has become one of fashion’s top wardrobe stylists. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois Marcellas began his fashion career in high school, selling designer womenswear at 16 years old. But it was while working his way through college at the University of Illinois that his life took the first of many incredible turns.
In the spring of 1995, while waiting tables Marcellas was discovered by legendary model agent Marie Anderson. Marie is responsible for starting the careers of supermodels Cindy Crawford, Colin Egglesfield, Matt King and the Riker Brothers. From London to Miami, Milan to New York, and of course Paris, for the next decade Marcellas traveled to the fashion capitals of the world, modeling for fashion’s biggest brands, top designers, and greatest photographers.
For the next few years, Marcellas continued to model for clients like Brioni, GAP, Gingiss Formalwear, Joseph Abboud, Nautica, Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue, Target, and Tommy Hilfiger. But it was in the summer of 2000 when Marcellas was asked to style a cover and six pages for British Vogue, with top models Catherine Hurley and Norbert Michalke, that Marcellas discovered his real passion, wardrobe styling.
Since then Marcellas has styled editorials for Angeleno Magazine, British GQ, Chicago Tribune Magazine, InStyle, Grazia, and Self, as well as advertising for corporate clients, like Anheuser Busch, Burger King, H&M, Macy’s, Meijer, and United Airlines.
In 2002 it was Marcellas’ star turn on the hit television series, Big Brother that made him a highly sought after entertainment reporter and TV host. With regular appearances on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and the UK’s ITV, Marcellas has worked extensively for E! Networks worldwide. You’ve seen him on some of their highest rated series like E! Live from the Red Carpet, How Do I Look, Style Star, and their newest hit, Secrets of New York Fashion Week.
