I’m excited to report that Los Angeles Magazine and I are hosting a party for Macy’s Matthew Williamson capsule collection. The event will be held Wednesday, April 13th at 6:30 pm at the Beverly Center store on the second level.
The collection is fantastic! Just adorable… and it’s really inexpensive. I’ll be chatting about Matthew and helping you shop the collection. There will be drinks, models wearing pieces from the collection and some surprise celebrity guests wearing looks straight off the runway!
As Matthew describes it, “the collection aims to capture the essence of the mainline brand, with a focus on effortless glamour, dynamic prints, loosely structured silhouettes and pops of strong color.”
Matthew is the second designer to take part in the capsule collection series for Macy’s. Each capsule offers limited-edition womens apparel pieces reminiscent of the designer’s signature style and they rotate onto the floor every few months.
