Winter is here (though it may not feel like it) and the holidays are upon us. It’s the most festive time of the year. But don’t forget you must look good to see the parents, meet the parents and for those big Christmas parties. Tis the season to laugh, party and look your best. Below are 6 of my favorite products to help you do just that.
Face:
Fresh Shaving Cream with Olive Extract. This is the perfect shave cream to prep even the most stubborn beard for obliteration! This creamy, non-greasy formula rinses away instantly without a trace of residue. Olive oil, sal seed butter and meadowfoam seed oil provide a nourishing barrier between skin and razor.
MenScience Daily Face Wash. This cleanser with glycolic and salicylic acids, aloe and allantoin, leaves your face super clean, soft and smooth and isn’t as drying as bar soap. It lightly exfoliates and tones. The packaging is cool, a bit clinical and very male.
Jack Black Face Buff Energizing Scrub. For smooth clear skin nothing works better than a scrub. Small scrubbing particles open clogged pores and sweep away deep-down oil, dirt and dead skin cells, while helping to prevent ingrown hairs. It smoothes your skin and invigorates with menthol and vitamin C.
Body:
Dr. Hauschka Blackthorn Body Wash. Fans of Dr. Hauschka swear he can beat back aging. His body wash invigorates with blackthorn and witch hazel which gently cleanses all skin types while essential oils of grapefruit and lemon combine for a refreshing scent, leaving you clean and energized.
Spa Binge Chocolate Whip Creme. This luxurious body lotion has Canadian willowherb extract which enhances moisture retention, echinacea leaf extract which is a natural antibacterial and burdock which is an excellent skin soother and helps balance the skin’s ph. It’s the perfect body lotion for cold weather and after a workout soothing!
And one really cool green product that naturally keeps you smelling good:
Organic Grooming by Herban Cowboy Dusk Deodorant. Finally a aluminum free, great smelling, all-natural deodorant that actually works. It’s vegan and contains no alcohol or artificial colors, and is even packaged in recycled plastic. It doesn’t get greener than this unless you go without and that’s just nasty.
You may notice that many of the products I listed contain natural ingredients. It takes a little work to find them but more and more companies are offering natural and green products!
