Dear Santa-
I’ve been a good boy this year (sorta). If you overlook that one thing that happened at San Diego Pride… Anyway you know, Santa, that I like really nice things. I mean that’s what I’m all about; the best things. And in the spirit of Christmas & Oprah’s last season, here are Marcellas’ Favorite Things. I want them all Santa. I’ll be waiting up on Xmas eve… And my cookies are super good…
Smell me. Cologne for him: Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de l’Homme. A melange of black Himalayan tea & spicy cinnamon bark. And for her: SJP NYC is inspired by Carrie Bradshaw from Sex & the City! It’s bold & fruity & sounds like a yummy cocktail with gardenia, vanilla, rum & wild strawberries.
Style note: When picking a fragrance for a friend think of how you would describe them. Are they masculine & strong? Go for spicy. Out going? Look for a fragrance with fruity top notes.
Read me. A book. 75 Years of DC Comics: The Art of Modern Mythmaking. This is a gorgeous cocktail table book that brings out the kid in every adult. And of course Superman is on the cover.
Cover me. The jacket. Marc Jacobs Shearling Zipper Jacket. Look at it. Enough said.
Style note: A good leather jacket if properly maintained can last a lifetime. Look for an updated classic style with modern elements.
Thrill me. An All Black Vintage Rolex. Alejandro Alcocer of Daydreamer Projects brought 50 Rolexes produced before 1990 and had a metals company paint them all black. The result is sublime. Like Jay-Z and Kanye sang, “All black everything.”
Drive me. 2012 Tesla Model S. And S is for sexy. Get ready for the electric sedan. From 0 – 60 in 5.6 seconds and the top speed is 120. Tesla technology offers the most efficient path to a sustainable energy future with no hybrids and no hydrogen.
That dear friends is my list of the sexiest, most covet-able gifts for Christmas 2010. And if any of you readers want to play secret Santa, email me at
